Transcend HR Consultancy in Chennai can recruit Indian personnel for the UAE employers, with a focus on EPC delivery and skilled construction teams. We combine candidate sourcing, screening, employer interviews, agreed trade assessments and mobilisation coordination. Recruitment proceeds against verified employer requirements, current agency authorisation and the appropriate employment route; availability and departure dates are confirmed campaign by campaign.
Recruitment built around the project
UAE employers often need different teams at different stages: erection crews first, MEP installation next and maintenance technicians later. We build the recruitment brief around the actual work package so an industrial pipe fitter is not confused with a building-services plumber, or a maintenance electrician with an installation helper.
For projects in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah and other confirmed industrial or construction locations, send the actual work scope rather than only a list of job titles. Identify the plant or construction environment, shift pattern, start date and whether the assignment is a short shutdown, project contract or continuing maintenance position.
Industries and job categories
Industries supported: Oil & gas contracting, EPC, industrial construction, mechanical and piping works, MEP installation, HVAC, facilities maintenance, fabrication and shipyard services.
Typical categories: Pipe fitters, welders, mechanical fitters, industrial electricians, instrument technicians, HVAC and duct technicians, plumbers, masons, shuttering carpenters, steel fixers, foremen, engineers, QA/QC personnel and HSE staff.
The employer decides which roles require recent GCC experience, specific plant exposure, trade qualifications or specialist authorisation. We match the shortlist to those conditions rather than describing every candidate as suitable for every industrial project.
Where we source in India
Chennai and wider Tamil Nadu for mechanical, MEP and civil trades; Kerala for HVAC and experienced GCC technicians; Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka for electrical and industrial personnel; additional Indian construction and fabrication clusters according to the work package. These are proposed sourcing catchments, not claims that Transcend owns offices in every region. Each campaign checks current availability, wage expectations and willingness to accept the offered location and contract. Candidates already employed are screened for lawful release and realistic joining dates.
How we test and interview
A UAE campaign can combine a drawing-based mechanical or MEP task with an employer interview. HVAC screening distinguishes installation from servicing. Civil tests use the employer’s specification for blockwork, plaster, formwork or reinforcement. Industrial welding tests follow the stated material, process and acceptance route.
Before testing, the employer approves the task, materials, equipment, scoring criteria and any inspection method. Candidate identity is checked against the assessment record. We capture the assessor’s findings and record whether the candidate passes, needs reassessment or is unsuitable for the role. Safety-critical failures are considered separately from the total score. A general recruitment trade test is not a statutory licence or a guarantee of plant access.
Interviews can be conducted by an employer delegation in Chennai or through an arranged remote panel. A useful panel includes the hiring manager or trade specialist as well as HR. Technical selection, salary acceptance, availability and processing eligibility are recorded separately. Employer-observed tests can be arranged where the facility and test method support remote observation; any laboratory or external inspection is scoped separately.
Employer documents to prepare
Prepare a company registration or trade-licence copy, authorised contact details, a category-wise demand letter, detailed employment terms, recruitment authority or power of attorney where required, and the recruitment service agreement. Include Trade licence, the applicable mainland or free-zone route, permit/quota readiness, approved job-offer format and the identity of the sponsor and project contractor. The demand should state headcount, salary currency, allowances, hours, overtime terms, leave, accommodation, food, transport, insurance, travel and contract length.
This is a working checklist, not one universal attestation rule. Transcend confirms the case-specific document and authentication sequence against the relevant authority or Indian mission instructions before submission.
Visa responsibilities
The UAE legal employer arranges the applicable work permit and immigration entry/residence process. MOHRE-regulated mainland employers and free-zone employers may use different administrative routes. Transcend supports India-side recruitment records and processing coordination; it cannot issue a UAE work permit.
The employer remains responsible for lawful employment, accurate sponsor information, destination permits and local onboarding. Transcend’s agreed India-side tasks may include file checks, appointment coordination and emigration processing support. Candidates provide truthful documents and attend required appointments. No party should treat a pending visa as an approved permission to work.
Candidate readiness and documentation
The candidate file normally includes a valid passport, matching personal details, CV, relevant experience evidence, trade or education certificates where required, photographs, test results and an accepted employment offer. Medical fitness follows the destination’s authorised process. Police clearance, attestation, biometric appointments and professional verification are added when the applicable route requires them. India-side emigration checks depend on passport category and destination; the recruitment team confirms the applicable clearance and insurance requirements before travel. Originals are handled only for a documented purpose and returned promptly.
Mobilisation workflow
Separate work packages → agree job descriptions and total package → validate employer documents → shortlist → interview and test → confirm offers → complete applicable pre-travel requirements → verify employment entry permission → travel → employer-led medical, residence and identity formalities as required → site induction.
Maintain a batch register with trade, selected count, accepted offers, medical status, verification status, visa status, clearance status and flight readiness. The arrival plan should identify airport collection, accommodation allocation and induction responsibility. Departure is one milestone; readiness to start the assigned work also depends on employer onboarding.
Approximate recruitment timelines
Allow approximately 7–12 working days for an initial shortlist after the complete brief and acceptable terms are received. For a routine campaign, use 4–8 weeks as an indicative planning allowance from a complete brief to first departures, assuming prompt selection and employer approvals. Bulk recruitment, scarce trades or permit readiness, free-zone procedures, certificate attestation, employer feedback or phased project release can extend the schedule.
These are draft planning estimates, not published government visa service times or a Transcend delivery guarantee. Activities may overlap, so stage durations should not simply be added. Request a dated campaign schedule after the requirement and permit position are reviewed; do not apply a small-campaign estimate to a 500-person mobilisation.
Welfare and recruitment compliance
State basic pay and allowances separately, explain overtime and accommodation arrangements, and avoid promising site access before induction is complete. Compare the candidate’s accepted offer with the final employment terms to prevent job or wage substitution.
Before travel, candidates should understand the accepted job, location and employment terms and retain copies of key documents. Confirm emergency contacts and a route for reporting wage, accommodation or job-scope concerns. Claims of free recruitment should be linked to the specific verified campaign and disclose any separate lawful expense before a candidate commits. We do not promise a particular vacancy, salary or visa outcome on this country guide.
If a selected worker needs to be replaced
Replacement support is governed by the signed recruitment service agreement. The agreement should define the eligible reasons, notification period, evidence, reassessment process and allocation of recruitment, visa, medical and travel costs. There is no published universal free-replacement period in this draft. A changed job scope, lower-than-agreed pay, unsafe conditions or delayed wages requires resolution of the underlying issue, rather than automatic substitution of a worker.
Recruitment with practical preparation
Through Transcend Institute, preparation can combine technical theory, supervised workshop practice and virtual reality learning where a suitable module is available. A baseline assessment identifies gaps; a targeted refresher addresses them; a separate reassessment records the result. Training scope, equipment, module availability and fees are agreed before enrolment. VR helps learners understand sequence, hazards and decisions. It does not replace hands-on competence, statutory certification, employer selection or site authorisation.
Questions from employers and candidates
- Can you recruit for ADNOC-related contractor projects?
We can source candidates against a contractor’s defined requirement. Previous work on an ADNOC project, training or a trade-test pass does not establish current ADNOC approval. Site-specific authorisation remains with the contractor and relevant operator.
We can evaluate a requirement of that scale and propose trade-wise sourcing and travel batches. Confirmation depends on the salary package, test standard, available candidates, visa authorisations and joining window. A database count alone is not proof of 300 deployable workers. - Can one interview campaign cover civil, mechanical and MEP trades?
Yes, with separate technical criteria and test stations for each discipline. Employer panels should agree the assessment plan before travelling or joining remotely. - Should workers arrive on visit visas while permits are arranged?
Travel and work must follow the lawful employment route confirmed by the sponsor. A visit visa should not be used as a substitute for work authorisation. - Can you support a free-zone company?
The recruitment brief can be reviewed, but the employer must confirm the free-zone authority’s requirements and permitted recruitment route before processing begins.
